Founder & Owner

I am a forwarding and logistics professional with a proven track record of 42 years in international freight forwarding and logistics across Europe, the United States and Asia.

With my experience and with a great network, I am determined and ready to help my clients with their challenges. This is why I founded christian nebel consulting in 2022.

I am very well aware of the major pain points of my clients and fully committed to support other professionals with my logistics industry knowledge.

But executive search, an ongoing challenge during the last years, goes beyond logistics: Every business depends on its people. Through my own and my partners' networks, chances for matching the best leaders with the best companies are excellent. After my own career, it is now most fulfilling for me to establish candidates as future leaders in their fields.

I worked from Hong Kong during the last years and decided to return to Germany by 2022. Even if Hamburg is my home base now, operating around the globe will continue!

I started my career 1980 in Hamburg/Germany as an apprentice with DB Schenker.  Over the next 32 years , I worked across the globe :

• DB Schenker: various positions in Germany, the United States, Hong Kong and India, up to General Manager and Managing Director

From 2013 onwards , I held senior positions with multinational logistics providers :

• JAS -  Executive Vice President Asia , HQ Singapore
• Geodis - Managing Director Germany, HQ Hamburg 
• Fr Meyer`s Sohn -  CEO Asia  , HQ Hong Kong
• Agility - CEO North Asia , RHQ Hong Kong
